After you have created and edited transactions as necessary, you need to indicate that they are ready for origination by submitting them for verification. You can submit transactions by selecting them individually or by choosing the All option. If you have several effective dates in the list, you may want to work from today's transactions only.
Note: The Display Today command does not show transactions that have stale effective dates, have effective dates too far in the future for today's origination, or have been marked as not active. If, for example, you have transactions in a category/subcategory that you do not want to originate, you can mark them as inactive using Quick Edit mode, choose Display Today from the transaction list page to see the transactions that are eligible for origination, and then submit those entries for verification. Remember to change the status back to active as necessary.
Note: If applicable, when submitting transactions for verification, you may be required to enter collection total(s) for debits and/or credits in your collection. If this accuracy verification tool is enabled, the Enter Control Total(s) page will be displayed prior to the Transaction Summary page. The control and actual amount(s) must match in order for the submission process to continue.
Click the category/subcategory from the application home page, or choose Transactions | <category/subcategory>.
If you want to view only today's transactions, click Display Today.
To submit selected transactions, mark them by clicking
the checkbox to the left of each one and choose Submit
| Submit Selected. You may
be required to enter collection total(s) for debits and/or credits
in your collection. If the balance accuracy tool is enabled, the Enter
Control Total(s) page will be displayed prior to the Transaction Summary
page. (The control and actual amount(s) must match in order for the
submission process to continue.) Click Continue.
To submit all transactions, choose Submit
| Submit All.
Make sure that the summary information is correct. If a warning message indicates your collection has exceeded the maximum submission limit and/or daily amount limit(s) set by your financial institution, you may select Cancel to edit the transactions.
Choose Continue Submit for Verification.
(If applicable) If your FI requires you to authenticate a submission exceeding a certain amount, enter the answer to your challenge question or enter the software or hardware tokencode when prompted. Click Continue.
If you have transaction collections set to export automatically upon submission, choose Save on the Download dialog box. Navigate to the download location, change the name if necessary, and click Save. After the file has been downloaded, click Close on the Download Complete dialog box. If you are downloading multiple files, repeat step 4 for each file.
Note: For categories that do not require verification, transaction collections move to the authorization step, if that is required.
