These steps show you how to remove a subcategory from the application. You cannot delete a subcategory if it has depending records or contains transactions, so make sure you remove all permitted account types and either move or delete transactions before deleting the subcategory.
Choose Administration | Subcategory Definition.
From the Subcategory Definition List, click the subcategory to delete.
Remove account types from the permitted Account Types list, if necessary.
Choose Delete.
Click OK.
