Deleting a transaction removes it from the application permanently. The application limits the maximum number of transactions each category can contain, so you may wish to delete inactive transactions from very large categories regularly or have the application automatically purge older inactive transactions nightly.
You may delete a transaction from the single edit page, from the transaction list, or from the Quick Edit page. If you have more than one transaction to delete, you may want to do so from the list page or Quick Edit list—both lists allow you to delete selected transactions or all the transactions in the view. Instructions for all methods are below.
Choose Transactions | <category/subcategory>.
Click a field link of the transaction to delete.
Select Delete.
Click OK.
Choose Transactions | <category/subcategory>.
To delete one or more transactions, mark the transaction(s) to delete by clicking the checkbox to the left of each transaction.
To delete all the transactions in the view, continue to the next step. You do not need to mark any items.
To delete one or more transactions, choose Delete | Delete Selected.
To delete all transactions in the view, choose Delete | Delete All.
Click OK.
If you are deleting all transactions, click Yes to confirm.
Choose Transactions | <category/subcategory>.
Click Quick Edit.
To delete one or more transactions, mark the transaction(s) to delete by clicking the checkbox to the left of each transaction.
To delete all the transactions in the view, continue to the next step. You do not need to mark any items.
To delete one or more transactions, choose Delete | Delete Selected.
To delete all transactions in the view, choose Delete | Delete All.
Click OK.
If you are deleting all transactions, click Yes to confirm.
Choose Cancel to return to the list page.
