Verifying User Records

If dual control is required for user record changes, all user additions, edits, or deletions must be verified before they become effective. The verifying user must have Customer Users: Add/Edit/Delete permission and must be someone other than the one who initiated the user record change. A notification link on the home page serves as a reminder and shortcut to the user records that need to be verified.

 

To verify a user record

  1. From the home page, click Customer User Record(s) from the User Records Pending table.

  2. If there are several changes to approve, group all the pending user records together by clicking the Record Pending column heading. The records with pending changes to be approved will move to the top of the list.

  3. Click the user record to be verified. You can identify these records on the Customer Users list page by the word "Yes" in the Record Pending column.

  4. If the changes are acceptable, select Verify Record.
