Searching Through a Report

If you need to find specific information in a report, you can perform a text search while viewing the report.

To search through a text report

  1. View the report.

  2. Choose Text Search.

  3. Enter the text to find. The Text Search is not case sensitive.

  4. Click Search. The Search goes to the first instance of the search text and highlights all instances of the text to find.

  5. Choose Return to List to exit the report.

 

To search through a PDF report

  1. View the report.

  2. Click the View menu and choose Edit from the PDF window. (If you do not see the binocular icon or the file menus, hold your mouse pointer over the bottom of the screen to cause the print, save, and search icons to display. Click the search, or binoculars, icon.)

  3. Type the text to locate into the Find search field.

  4. Press the Enter key to begin your search. The first instance of the search text will be highlighted.

  5. If necessary, press Enter to continue to the following instance(s) of the search text.

  6. When finished searching, close the report by clicking the X in the upper right-hand corner of the PDF window.
