Note: The Resubmit Selected option is enabled or disabled at the category definition level. If your financial institution has disabled the option, it will not appear under the under the Submit menu on the Transaction List page.
When you send a transaction to the financial institution, the application increments the Times Sent counter and, if it is a recurring item, rolls the Effective Date forward. Transactions scheduled for One Time are marked as inactive. If, however, the transaction contains an error or is not received by the FI for some reason, you will need to send it again. Instead of submitting the item and manually resetting the scheduling options, you can simply resubmit the item, and the application handles the schedule automatically. Resubmitting a transaction requires the same verification and authorization steps as the original item. Check items cannot be resubmitted when the check image is not available; if your financial institution has not enabled image archiving, the resubmit limit is five days after the check has been scanned and saved.
Note: If applicable, when resubmitting transactions, you may be required to enter collection total(s) for debits and/or credits in your collection. If this accuracy verification tool is enabled, the Enter Control Total(s) page will be displayed prior to the Transaction Summary page. The control and actual amount(s) must match in order for the submission process to continue.
You may select and resubmit multiple transactions from the list. You cannot resubmit all items in a transaction list without selecting them.
Click the category/subcategory from the application home page, or choose Transactions | <category/subcategory>.
Select the transactions to resubmit by clicking the check box to the left of each one.
Choose Submit | Resubmit Selected. If the accuracy verification tool is enabled, the Enter Control Total(s) page will be displayed prior to the Transaction Summary page. (The control and actual amount(s) must match in order for the submission process to continue.) Click Continue.
Make sure that the summary information is correct.
Choose Continue Resubmit.
OR, if applicable, if an error message regarding the control totals and the actual amounts is displayed, you may either select Cancel to edit the amounts of the resubmitted transaction(s), or you may select Re-enter Control Amount(s) to change the control amount total(s) you entered.
