Logging in using Software Token Authentication

Software tokens are a means of proving your identity online using temporary codes entered at the time of login. They are enabled and registered by your FI. Once you have installed the RSA SecurIDĀ® Token generator application and registered the software token license provided by your FI, you may log in using the new authentication method. The token generator will provide short-term numeric codes that you will use to gain access to the application.

In the RSA SecurID application, the squares below the tokencode indicate the life of the code and will fade as the expiration of the code approaches. If there are only two squares remaining, we recommend that you wait a few seconds for the new code to be generated.

Note: Steps may vary slightly depending on the authentication method.

To log in using software token authentication

  1. Launch the RSA SecurID Token application.

  2. Launch the application's login page. Enter your User Name and then select Login.

  3. Enter the tokencode into the Token Passcode field on the login page and select Continue. (If necessary, position the RSA SecurID Token application window so that you may view it alongside the login page.)

  4. Enter your application password and select Continue. The application home page will display.
